Family Halloween Costumes

I know it's a little early, but I'm already starting to think about Halloween.  I mean it's only in 2 months and there's lots to prepare for!  My family has always been huge Halloween fans.  Our house is always largely decorated and my parents throw more than one Halloween party.  As a kid I always dressed up and even into my college years - there was always some kind of Halloween party to go to.  The last 2 years I haven't dressed up, but now that we have a baby, I'm super excited about it again!

So I've been looking online and on pinterest to get some great ideas for family themed costumes.  My top 2 ideas are superheroes and Angry Birds.  Alan is definitely leading towards Angry Birds, but wouldn't a cape look so cute on my little girl?  Um, yes!

Another reason I'm thinking about it in advance is because I definitely want to make our costumes.  So I need to start thinking about what to make and how to make it.  I have found some adorable costumes on pinterest.  Here's what I've found...
