Graham Cracker Toffee
1 box of graham crackers
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 bag chocolate chips
toffee chips
Layer a cookie sheet with foil and grease the foil. Place 1 layer of whole graham crackers on the foil until the cookie sheet is covered. Bring sugar and butter to a boil. Once boiling, take off heat and immediately pour over graham crackers so all are covered. Bake for 9 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and pour chocolate chips on graham crackers. Once they begin to melt, spread the chocolate until graham crackers are covered. Sprinkle toffee on top. Allow to cool before eating. You can place them in the fridge or freezer to speed up the process.

Yummy! We all love toffee so we're going to have to try this one. Thanks for sharing. My sister-in-law makes something similar with saltine crackers. Salty, sweet deliciousness.
ReplyDeleteJust the kind of recipe I like to collect as the Fall/Winter holidays come around.
ReplyDeleteHey... did you use brown sugar instead of white sugar? I'm hoping yes... If you used white sugar I'd be curious to see how it turned out! ;)
ReplyDeleteWe did use brown sugar. I just wrote it down as sugar and then forgot to change it on here. Good catch Ashley! It would be interesting to see how it came out with regular sugar. Maybe we should try it! :-)
ReplyDeleteI will be trying this - it looks delicious! I bet some broken pieces of this would be delicious over vanilla ice cream
