Graduation, A New Job, and Moving

Alan graduated from BYU on Thursday!!!  It's so great for him to be done with his undergrad.  He was kind of done doing the school thing...as we all seem to be by the end.  But he did great and we're so excited to move on to the next stage of life...full time employment.

We had a stressful April while Alan applied for a job.  It seemed like we applied (yes we, I helped with online stuff) to about 100 different jobs!  And with this economy you usually don't hear back from any of them.  But he had some interviews with a company and he got a job!  It's in training which is what he wants to do as a career so it's a great place for him to be.  It's a great company and we are so excited for him to start next week!

And since his job is about an hour from where we are living now, we're moving...this weekend!  So we spent this last weekend looking for a place to live.  We went to a ton of different places and realized that apartments in the Salt Lake area are a little harder to come by and a little more expensive than in Utah county.  But we found something great in a great location in distance from family and Alan's new job and are moving this weekend.  This all explains why I've been a little MIA from my blog as we've been apartment searching and packing.  So my posts will be limited this week, but I'll be back next week!

So it's been a little crazy, a little stressful, and really exciting in the Tanner house lately.  I'm so proud of my husband for getting his bachelor's degree and finding his first salary job!  Way to go Alan!
