Family Halloween Costumes

I was walking down the aisles at the grocery store last week and my mouth dropped open when I saw the rows and rows of...
Halloween Candy!

Already?  I guess it's that time.  So it made me start to think about what we should do for family Halloween costumes this year.  I think it's fun for us all to dress in a theme.

Last year we pulled out our old High School Letterman's Jackets and I sewed a cheerleader outfit for the Bammer.  She was just 8 months old!  Wow time flies!

And this year we're going to be
Superheroes!

We got the idea when we were changing Bammer into her PJs.  She had a onesie on with little bottoms from her dress and she looked so cute!  Superheroes it is!  And we may have ordered some cheer shorts (booty shorts as my husband likes to call them) from Kohl's and they might be on their way...

So I just need to sew some capes and that's pretty much it!  It's a simple costume to put together and I'm excited for it!  Here's a sketch I drew to plan out the costumes.

Here are some other fun ideas if you're still thinking of a family theme of costumes.
