Glimpses of Me

I usually don't post twice in one day, but I was thinking about what's been going on in my life lately and thought I would share!  Nothing spectacular at all, but just a glimpse into the life behind the mommy blogger if you're interested.  :-)

This week has been a really good one so far!  Bammer has been so happy and Lil Sis (who I'll start calling Lowie now - it's part of her nickname) has been sleeping between 6-8 hours a night which all make for a happy mom.

We took a walk on Monday and I had Lowie in a baby carrier and she fell asleep.  Bammer took her bucket and we collected yellow leaves and her favorite right now...rocks.  I also tried teaching her to roll down a hill.  She's not quite there yet, but really enjoyed it!

Lowie also had THE blowout of her life the other day.  Luckily we were at home. 

Bammer has started sharing with Lowie more.  Necklaces, books, pacifiers, and once she even shoved a goldfish cracker in her mouth.  Luckily I caught that one before any damage was done.

I went shopping yesterday for some fall clothes and church shoes for Bammer.  So I hit up Payless with a 20% off coupon and then Old Navy with a 10% off and $5 reward on top of the baby sale going on.  We totally scored and Bammer is ready for fall!

We watched the presidential candidate debate last night and I thought it was rather interesting.  

Today I whipped out my BYU sweats.  These things are thick and heavy and reserved for cold weather only.  Well I'm accepting it, fall weather is here.  It was pretty cold today!  But I do love these sweats.  Alan and I bought a pair for each other the Christmas after we got married.  So they're almost 3 years old!

I hope your week has been great too!  And a bonus for today, Alan is on his way home from work and it's only 3:30!  Usually he doesn't get home until about 5:45.  Hooray!
