Yesterday it happened, my toddler learned the word...NO.
She's known how to shake her head no for quite some time, but yesterday out of the blue, she started saying No. It's actually really cute how she says it and we're so proud that she's actually saying a word, that we don't really mind. In fact it's kind of funny. And we probably shouldn't laugh, but we do.
She almost asks it as a question. I guess that's why it's cute. This is Bammer's like 7th or 8th word so we're thrilled she's making this progress! She's a little behind with talking, but it's slowly coming along. We just know she'll be a chatter box once those words start flowing.
Some other things that happened this week are...
Yesterday I broke our blender. I set it on the edge of the counter and accidently hit it off and it shattered into a million pieces. And I'm not exaggerating. A Million! We picked up glass all night. I was so mad! Mad because I broke it and mad because we really don't have the money for a new one right now.
Luckily Alan and I both use Viggle (well we used to a lot) and had enough points to redeem 3 $10 gift cards to JC Penny and got a new blender for free! I bought it at the store today! Hooray! Huge blessings!
I also made some really cute headbands for my girls that I want to put on etsy soon. What do you think? Do you think they would actually sell? Be honest. I can take the criticism.
And the last few days, Bammer can't get enough of holding Lowie. She's always reaching for her. With much supervision, she actually does a really good job. She gives her kisses and says "Shhh" if she gets a little fussy. And then tries to smother her with a little too much love. Love my girls!
And who wouldn't just smile at this little chubby baby?
